listen, floyd contacted hattons camp and asked when hatton would be ready to fight. hattons camp said no earlier than 2007, which is why floyd vacated his belt at 140. ricky doesnt want to fight floyd right now, or else he would be doing it...notice how floyd is calling hatton out, not hatton isnt responding or calling floyd out

Don't even waste your breath, he's stuck on ******.

because he went to 147 because he knew he could own zab easier than the guys that were at 140. the fact that he is still fighting zab discredits floyd a little imo.

He skipped a tough divison by moving to an entire new weight class. lol, I'd say that evens out.

So, then the same would hold true for Pac when he fought Morales after Raheem owned him correct? It's funny that you neglect to mention the fact that Hatton and Cotto aren't willing to fight him yet.

the thread is about mayweather, i was responding to the question about him. not pac, morales, raheem, hatton, or cotto.
floyd deserves all the criticism he gets until he goes out there and fights real fights rather than phony ones like zab.

His resume speaks for itself. Zab was the undisputed champ at 147. Having your first fight with Mitchell at 147 shows he's not fighting bums. He could've easily picked a bum for his first fight at 147, but he didn't.

i am not trying to say that floyd isnt awesome, but what i am saying is that a fight with zab which i think he intentionally pursued rather than a fight with someone like hatton, margarito, or even cotto (who floyd would brutalize) is a little iffy. and the fact that after zab lost to baldy floyd still wants the fight. it reminds me of wwf. why wouldnt floyd just go balls out for the title against baldy? now we get to see gatti and baldy and then what another gatti beating? please. floyd is just becaoming notorious for making fights that i, personally dont want to see.

The fight w/ Mosley was not 20 pounds above his orginal weight it was more like 6 or 7 pounds. And I count TWO wins over Mosley and win over Trinidad who was in the p4p ranks throughout his career and on his way back until Winky steam rolled him in a shut out win na d through in a win over Soliman and i think that gets you the #1 spot. Add to the fact he is fighting Taylor, he wants and is getting the fights that he should be fighting

As for Manny, he MAB and Morlaes and is looking to fight Larios Vasquez and a rubber match w/ El Terrible.

Look at PBF he beat Henry Brussels, Arturo Gatti and a washed up shell of his former self Shambra Mitchell. That makes you #1??? Absolutely not, there were plenty of fighters at 140 that PBF could have fought while waiting on the Hatton fight. Im sure Junior Witter would want the fight, then Cotto, how bout Harris or Tszyu? But PBF doesnt do that he cherry picks opponets and then becomes the champ by saying hes the champ, that doesnt work in my book, Im not buying the Bull**** hes selling.

And you brought up the Gatti fight w/ PBF. That fight actually made me respect PBF as a fighter more b/c he dismantled my boy. But I do not respect him as true champ of anything yet b/c he is not, and it is frustrating b/c he DOES have the skills

And for the record I am not discrediting the Judah fight, I like it, it is not PBF fault that Zab took the nite off against Baldy and discredited the fight for being for the weleterweight championship that fight will be on July 22 in Atlantic City when Gatti faces the 147 champ Baldomir
