There have been fighters over the years to chase after Mayweather for a lucrative pay-per-view opportunity, but Mundine took things to a new level by sending out an open letter requesting the opportunity to fight Mayweather on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Mundine holds the WBC's silver title at junior middleweight, which he believes en****** him to a mandatory shot at Floyd, who holds the WBC's full title at 154 and 147.
