I'm glad. I wouldn't have been mad if it was ruled a no contest, but come on. Vargas was losing widely and landed one good punch that didn't even put Bradley down, it just wobbled him. There were 7 seconds left. Not nearly enough to stop an already recovered Bradley.

The ref waved his hands which only happens when hes stops the fight
Vargas got robbed of the 7 seconds at the least and a TKO win at worst

Re
I mean, look...did he hurt Bradley with huge right hand with 20 seconds left in the fight? Yeah. Is he deserving of a rematch based on the ref's error? Probably. But it's what happened during the OTHER 11 rounds, 2 minutes, and 45 seconds of the fight.
Vargas has this laid back, easy going temperament. Smiles, touching gloves...You get the feeling that his goal was not to hurt Bradley, and if he can cruise through 12 rounds throwing a jab at Bradley and looking at him, then he was perfectly fine with that.
The only time he showed any aggression was when Bradley initiated the exchange. Otherwise he stood there and watched Bradley. He's not just coming out of the amateurs, this is pretty much who he is, and how the rematch will go.
I heard he got the benefit of doubt in some decisions, and now I'm wondering about that Demarco fight. How did this guy beat Demarco?! Demarco is a very aggressive fighter that doesn't mind hurting people at all!
If he gets his rematch, it's understandable, because if the ref is going def. But he needs to...let Bradley move on.
