Do you guys think Floyd Mayweather has enough power to knock out Amir Khan?
Absolutely, I think he could knock out most 147lbers if he was standing his ground and throwing his weight into the punches. This would be especially true of a chinless fighter like Khan that can get rocked by Algieri. It wouldn't happen though because May weather is going to box circles around him if they fight.

If Chris Algieri can teach Amir some new dance moves then I'm sure Floyd can make him do the stanky leg.

Weaker men with less technique have hurt khan. Chris Algeri hurt khan. It's not far fetched to think Floyd would do the same.

The reason behind that is because Alexander is stiff, if he loosened up he'd hurt more fighters, this is why his power is difficult to rate at times. Algieri at least knew how to put everything behind those overhand rights but even then, you know he isn't a puncher.

I know that Mayweather can hurt Khan plenty of times throughout the course of the fight and those shots will become more and more difficult for Khan to withstand which can lead to some type of stoppage, via ref or corner throwing the towel.

As many have stated, Mayweather has plenty of power. He is very careful in how he uses it. Against a guy like Khan, who is easy to hit and reckless, I don't see why Floyd doesn't put him away. Easy fight. Khan is barely a top 10 welterweight at best.

                See Sig quote!

If Amir gets hit by a counter he doesn't see coming, it'll be chicken dance the movie.

Ps: i'm a fan of Khan's but he doesn't stand a snowflakes chance in hell of beating Floyd.

Does he have the power to knock Khan out? Of course.

Does that mean it's going to happen? No. And it probably wouldn't.

Algieri may have been rocking Khan, but he didn't really hurt him. It was just the force of punches coming from such a big guy and such a height which staggered Khan but not once did he look shook up by the punch. He was always clear eyed and focused.

Floyd has the ability to drop Amir by catching him out

But NO WAY does 2015 Floyd have the power and following up trigger to stop him.

Floyd Khan is pretty much a guaranteed 12 round fight.
