However Shane landed the harder shots which is how he won both those fights, despite landing less overall. Now in Mayweather and Pacquiaos case he outlanded pac and landed more clear shots so it was a no brainer. And the difference in overall percentage can't be ignored. But unfortunately haters will always find a way to downplay Floyd's victories.
I will say this,Body shots count just as much as head shots.I had Floyd winning that fight because he took the 1st 4-5 rounds and imo took the last 2 rounds..

      Mayweather Haters Excuses Recap

DLH: Old and over hill. Yet when Pac beats him its the best thing since sliced bread

      Mosley: Same as previous comment

Hatton: Too small and not good enough. He was an undefeated world champion. Really?

Ortiz: Sucker punch even though the referee clearly said "fight" but still had hands down

Guerrero: Not good enough, exposed. But prior to the fight everyone said he would win

Alvarez: Too inexperienced. Wait a minute, wasn't he an undefeated champion at the time? Also before the fight didn't everybody say Floyd was ducking him and would never fight him. Also they said he would knock Floyd out. Funny how the opinion changed once he loss.

Maidana: Clinched too much and "ran". I guess in boxing the most effective way to win a fight is to stand there and let your opponent hit you.

Pacquiao: He ran and Pac's shoulder. Like I said before I guess he's supposed to stand still and let his opponent beat on him. Also Pac was the dumb a** who decided to step in the ring with the best fighter in the world not at 100%. Then he cries about not winning. Really?

Like I said before there will always be an excuse. Its okay, keep winning Floyd.

The injury mattered. But being a shot fighter matters just as much. Floyd fough scared vs a injured shot fighter. Marquez leftovers to be flat out honest

Hey, if you watch it 10 times maybe you will see the KO you were praying for. I hear if you watch it 20 times, you see that girl coming out of the well. Be careful.

Lol oh Pacquiao is shot now? That's funny. He wasn't shot before the fight when everyone said that he would whoop Floyd. Plus Floyd didn't know Pac was hurt so he just fought like he always does. The man is not ******. He knew fighting reckless against a guy like pacquaio would be a dumb move. He just boxed smart and worked behind his jab which is BOXING. Its funny how people call slugging it out and taking punishment "boxing" but using movement and hitting without getting hit "running".

He beat Marquez 12-0 6 years ago, so ur argument is invalid!

But as always Floyd wins its a problem. I've never seen a fighter hated so much for being good at what he does. Its just crazy.
Pacquiao's fans are actually disrespecting him without even knowing it, Pacquiao is a great fighter and just cuz he didn't get KOed they're happy and they claim that he won, but they forget that beating a guy like Pacuiao 9-3 or even 8-4 is a HUGE accomplishment.

A "12 round draw"? Pac and camp need to go away with their bullcrap. The delusion kingpin leading his delusional followers.

Paquaio was healthy and he LOST EASILY. The fans of #48 can make all the excuses they want and claim that Pac won in slow motion, Pac won or drew after watching the fight 18 times (in slow motion). The fact remains! Pac lost and lost by a wide margin. Even Harold Lederman, who has always favored Pacqauio and his style, had Mayweather winning nine rounds to three.
