Damn, people still talking about that robbery of the century (fans getting robbed, that is).

I think there are a few things we can ALL agree on.. (or most of us anyway)

1.) Neither fighter was really impressive or "dominating" at any moment in the fight.
-pretty much a stalemate with each fighter having their moments
-INCONCLUSSIVE - DRAW -

2.) This was a close, technical fight. Many swing rounds went to Floyd by default simply because of his style. DEFENSIVE STYLES WILL GET THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT WHEN THERE IS LITTLE ACTION. Injuries/training/gameplan/condition doesn't matter at that point as the vast majority will just assume the "defensive genius" forced his opponent to fight that way, and TBH there MAY be some truth to that but the same applies to Manny's injury - both were likely a factor.

3.) NOBODY got "schooled", "dominated", etc. etc.
BOTH fighters disappointed. There was no "masterclass" or "boxing clinic" going on (tired of reading this $hit). FLOYD BARELY EDGED THE ROUNDS HE "WON". BOTH seemed to be fighting scared (one moreso than the other) because a simple mistake could easily result in a humiliating KD or KO.

4.) So much controversy about this fight, there should be a rematch.
If the "winner" is so confident in his abilities, a rematch should be a no brainer with the kind of $$$ they would make.. again. Opportunity to set things straight once and for all, why would anyone turn down a rematch??
It surely won't sell as well as the first, but at this point, this is about legacy - setting the record straight, and it is STILL the biggest money fight for BOTH guys, even after the outrage. I probably won't be paying to watch it, but I would be very much interested in seeing what happens.

2) I saw nothing to suggest that Pacquiao was injured in that fight, nothing.

1) An overwhelming majority scored it for Floyd. The fight was anything but an inconclusive draw. Now if you scored it a draw thats you, and its fine, but why the hell would you think everyone agrees with YOUR score?

2) It was a technical fight. It wasnt close. Why were the rounds scored for Floyd? Because Floyd made #48 miss a ton of shots, while connecting at a much higher clip.

3) I dont care about calling it a schooling or anything else. Both fighters could have given alot more of themselves we agree there. It wasnt a crowd pleaser.

4) You are all over the place with this one. What controversy? Injuries happen in boxing, before and during fights. Its never made the outcome of said fights "controversial". Its laughable to think that the winner of the fight somehow needs a rematch to set things straight everytime the loser cries about an injury. Also, you want them to fight, but you dont wanna buy, but you are interested... make up your mind please.

1. Don't agree; Mayweather shutting down Pac offense was pretty impressive
2. Disagree again; I don't see that many swing round, the couple of rounds Pac won he landed punches.....the other rounds he wasn't landing anything.
3. Disagree once again.....Pac was giving a boxing lesson, especially in defense.

I think the public would trash a rematch.....really trash it....matter of fact, it probaly would hurt the sport because even the news channels would pick up the story and it would be all about how the first fight suck, both made a 100 mill, the public got screwed, and now they are trying to do it to us again.

1. Floyd required fouling to try to minimize Manny's offense. Without that, Manny gets in lots of more connects and basically this fight would have looked very very different.
Actually Manny was more impressive to me defensively. Manny was the shorter man with shorter reach and basically fought with one healthy arm. Plus not considered to be as good defensively yet also held Floyd to his least output ever. All this Manny did without having to resort to any fouls.

2. Lets analyze a few rounds and you will quickly change your mind. Lets start with ROUND #3 ...... GO!

i know manny fans will defend him no matter what but is it not beyond strange they have not put out the mri from when he injured his shoulder and the second one after the fight? fighters always produce mri when an injury is in question i just find it beyond weird they have not produced it. if they would of put out both mri the demand for a rematch would be gigantic. i know fans of manny want to believe him but you got to admit it is shady they have not put out an mri. it honestly makes me think he didnt really injure himself. here is a picture of manny before the decision was read. I know you're joking. But honestly, Bradley is the fight that makes the most overall sense if they want to prove that Manny isn't washed up. I said before, if Bradley schools Manny in their rubber match, we'll ALL know that Manny needs to hang them up because he shouldn't lose that fight under any circumstances.

Personally I'd be ok with him facing Khan simply to answer the question - was Tim Lane really the reason Algieri got schooled by Manny (in which case Chris deserves a rematch under his current fight style) and that's why he performed so well against Khan, or is Khan really a B/C level fighter and got exposed as such?

(Before people say Chris doesn't deserve a rematch, let's not forget the first Holyfield/Lewis fight where Holyfield was getting schooled all night long. They had a rematch and Evander did WAY better the second time around.)
