Pacquiao could return in spring of next year

Per USA Today, who spoke with Roach and Arum...

Says it could take place in March/April/May...three names being mentioned are Matthysse, Brook, Crawford...

When Pacquiao does return to the ring, trainer Freddie Roach says he wants Manny to “go back into the deep water” and believes he’ll back in the approximately eight months from now, pinning him for a comeback in March, April or May.
Bob Arum mentioned Lucas Matthysse and Kell Brook as possibilities in an interview with USA TODAY Sports and has also thrown around Terence Crawford’s name in the past.

I think Pacquiaos best days are behind him and that he should retire but it would be interesting to see him fight Matthysse.

A year seems a bit much. His tear wasn't that bad, I wouldn't think.

I'm all for Pac/Brook in the UK. Let Matts and Crawford battle it out.

I feel like Matts needs his break. I'm all for Pacquiao vs Matthysse, but I'll be gutted for the loser.

If that garbage version of pacquaio shows up next year against Lucas he'd get obliterated.

Crawford is too green and I'd like to see him first take on a top level 140 pounder.

Brook is a world titlist and a good match up but Pacman eats him up.

                Mathysse gets whooped.

Matthysse is managed by Haymon, who is being sued for 100 million against Bob Arum.

How ****** are you to think that fight could actually get made with all of those legal stipulations surrounding them>

He's with GBP and managed by someone else, not Haymon. Making the fight wouldn't be an issue, especially since Bob and Oscar seem to be back on the same bandwagon.
