In a boxing ring Mayweather would beat McGregor up really badly. This guy can talk big.

Erm...Floyd went to WWE and took down The Big Show. The Big Show. Wake me up when this clown can do that.

Its foolish to say that so Im going to guess youve never boxed a day in your life or tried out MMA. A street fight between a boxer vs MMA fighter depends on many things. A boxer knows how to use his fists better than any MMA fighter can and has instincts that are on another level compared to MMA fighters. MMA fighters mainly have one background combat sport in which they are truly good at(mainly wrestling for a lot of Americans) then they have the other MMA skills that are raw. It all depends on the level of boxer and MMA fighter, but to think that 9/10 times an MMA fighter is gonna win just because they know ground game is foolish. A street fight might never even make it to the ground against a boxer. If they try to kick, a boxers defensive insticts and foot work are also on another level and can viciously counter strike in a split second. When MMA fighters miss kicks, they sometimes do a full 360 turn w their hands down leaving so much of a target for a good boxer to capitalize on. Just so many ways a street fight can play out w a boxer and an MMA fighter, and all things go in a street fight remember that, eye gouging at close range, testicle striking, biting.

In all seriousness, McGregor needs to switch to boxing immediately and capitalize on a huge Mayweather payday. If McGregor doesn't switch to boxing, then he's admitting that not even a potential $300,000,000 payday is enough incentive (for him to switch). And as far as I am concerned, it is admitting that he hasn't the talent to make it in boxing. I like McGregor's entertaining banter, but I won't let that confuse me about his athletic prowess.
    Damn right.

That guy is amazing. I don't see how he was ever legitimately beaten before.
This guy has a long time to prove he's as good as YOU say he is. When he's dominating UFC past the age of...i'll be generous...30, then you come back to the thread talking this same non-sense. One clip on the chin and these guys disappear like phantoms. I don't want to hear about glove size or any of that crap. MMA stand up is suspect and against a master this kid would be embarrassed. Hell Moseley knocks him out in 3!

If they got into a fight, McGregor would win.
If they had a boxing match, Mayweather would toy with him.

Wrong. The best street fighter wins in the streets - no holds barred means anything goes.

But I am sure I could KO him. So I wouldn't past it AN ACTIVE animal like McGregor being able to do it as well.
Get serious. My mother-in-law is closing in on ninety, and you couldn't dismantle her and her cat-o-nine-tails let alone Floyd Mayweather.

Top 10 guy? A top 50 boxer would box Connor's ears off and this is coming from one of his biggest fans. Guy is a modern day Ali but this **** makes no sense to me.
