    Head movement and defense.

If this guy got in the ring with Terrence Crawford, Verdejo would be doing Amir Khan Dances.

Crawford is closer to 147 than felix is to 140.... Verdejo was 133 against Najera. Doesnt matter who Verdejo fights u will always pick the opponent. Im 100% sure if I look through older threads ill find a post from you picking Najera to KO Verdejo.

Your dream scenario would be a mexican or an african american to beat verdejo, youll probably have a hate ****** watching

On topic tho, i agree, his head movement is horrible... He hasnt been hit hard enough for him to be concerned, but thats very bad... luckly hes young and its something that can be fixed.

I would like to see him shorten his hooks a little. The way he retreats or circles out with a tight high guard reminds me of Lara. Instead of circling out completely, sometimes he should wait for the counter opportunity. With some better decision-making, he could've stopped Najera. Fighters will only get tougher to finish from this point on.

looping punches. Someone with great straight counters will hurt him in exchanges

hes a certified head hunting stiff amatere boxer who will have a hard time adapting to real boxing,

he throws to many wild combinations thinking hes tito or something and he has no defense

He's a work in progress. I hope his camp realizes this and works this flaw out.

And I agree he's too stuff, to up and down.
