Comments Thread For: DeGale's Coach: Groves Has Great Chance To Beat Jack

George Groves (21-2, 16 KOs) is due to challenge Badou Jack (19-1-1, 12 KOs) for the WBC super middleweight world title in the United States with a date yet to be officially confirmed. The trainer of Groves' arch rival James DeGale believes that the Londoner has a great shot at winning the belt which could potentially set up a unification rematch between the two Brits.

I only ever saw Jim fight twice in the flesh. Once was against Brian Mitchell & the other was Azuma Nelson & he was bested both times. However unlike Barry McGuigan he did have the gut's to get in there!

yeah if he dont just plod forward then throw uppercuts which are doing no damage whatsover. jack is flawed for one just look how he stands its like he's on the balls of his feet on his back foot :S and he's got little pop but he could still beat groves. jacks a bit rigid but groves technique dont look to great either.

Ugly Kid won't have a much better chance to win a world title I shouldn't think but I can still see him ***ing this up.

George has looked poor since he left Booth. It's as if he's training himself with Fitzpatrick acting as a yes man. He has speed, power and a solid jab but looks more fragile and complacent.
