Maidana. Pacquiao. Who put up a better fight against PBF?

Difference is Maidana earned every round he won against Floyd and may have even edged a 5th round.. **** one judge gave him 6! ... not so much with Pac. 4 rounds is the most you could possibly score for Pac and that's being generous, anything more than 4 rounds you're bias and your opinion doesn't matter. 3 rounds for Pac is probably closer to what is should've been, even 2 rounds is not as crazy as it would be if you gave Pac 5... Point is Maidana did waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Pac did. If Pac did what Maidana did he would've probably gotten the decision.

maidana did not just win those rounds, he punished floyd in those rounds. there were also a lot of close rounds in that fight.Originally posted by BrometheusBob View PostLol yeah virtually everyone had Maidana winning four rounds in fight one, was not as debatable as people here are making it seem.
In before "12-0 Masterclass" nut huggers.
you can say derp manny won the same amount (and this is being really generous) but realistically, manny struggled to sc**** those rounds and he set a record low of punches thrown.Last edited by John Barron; 07-02-2015, 11:40 PM.

very little punishment i'd say. chino looked like a fresh fighter at the end of both fights.Originally posted by SilverMiles View PostThe main difference is Mayweather didn't take Maidana seriously. People pretend like it wasn't suppose to be an easy fight for Mayweather but hindsight is 20/20. But he really respect Pacquiao. Mayweather open up a lot more against Maidana. Against Manny he started the clinch game from round 1.
Maidana did more damage but took punishment as well.
Although Pacquiao did less damage to Mayweather, but Mayweather didn't make the fight particularly hard for Manny neither. Manny had more problems with Bradley than Mayweather.
you're joking. tactically, it was manny's toughest fight in years. how else can you explain the horrible performance?

Didn't Lederman have it going even into round seven in May/Pac? Granted pretty sure he had every round following that for pbf ending with 9-3 IIRC.Originally posted by Body Movin' View Postmaidana did not just win those rounds, he punished floyd in those rounds. there were also a lot of close rounds in that fight also.

Idk, I personally had it 8-4 so was surprised at the overwhelmingly negative response to his performance. I think people were expecting him to fight a certain way, that he'd make the fight exciting win or lose.
But I think thats unfair because from time to time he landed some pretty clean shots, and landed some decent counters, stuff we didn't really see from other fighters. He didn't win obviously, but that didn't negate anything he managed to do. You could count on one hand the number of times he was buzzed comparably to round four against Pac.

Reading might not be your thing but I said Maidana earned it and Pacquiao didn't... and as for the other nonsense you posted it all you think Floyd did to win were the things you listed, you should probably look into finding another sport to follow boxing probably isn't for you. If Floyd was "tapping" Pac then he should've been able to walk right through his shots right? instead he was hesitant and would jump back whenever Floyd feinted with his right because he was afraid to get tapped. Unlike Maidana who was willing to walk through the fire ... Also Maidana knows how to cut off a ring Pac still can't figure that out.Originally posted by jas View PostLol this guy ^^^^
Floyd really earned it...
Tapping and running, ducking at the waist which is an illegal foul, illegal holding,
