It's still as clear as mud, but there looks to be some talent coming through from Europe, maybe they can make things interesting.

You're entitled to your opinion, but the WBC champ is always considered the best, but lets be honest, theres no one out there at the moment who is truely the best since Lewis retired and then Klitschko.

The WBC strap was handed to Rahman and wasnt won in the ring. The WBA was robbed off of Ruiz and no I am not taking up for him but I do believe he won by like 3 rounds same goes for Larry Donald. Valuev got a gift and I dont consider him champ same goes for Rahman it was handed to him. The IBF/WBO HW title holders is consistant and has fought top challengers and earned their championship in the ring. No matter how much integrity is behind that green belt it only means as much as the person holding it makes the most out of it.

        Let me ask you this.

Who isin't vulnerable among the current heavyweights?

I think it will be really good for boxing if maskaev were to beat rahman because he knows his career is winding down and he would fight to unify. valuev, who the **** knows, i cant wait to see what kind of bum they get for his first defense, so he can split decision his ass all over the ring.

even valuev however has mentioned klitschko. lyko mentioned klitschko almost immediately. maskaev im sure would like to get klitschko money.

i dont know if you have noticed but it seems like these european and russian fighters have a chip on their shoulder when it comes to the klitschko. its like theyve all spent their careers in obscuirty while the public has been jocking the klitschkos since day 1. they all seem just dying to be the one to get in the ring and shut everyone up. which is great i think if maskaev beats rahman and lyko and wlad fight to unify there could be an undisputed champ within a year and a half

The problem is, even if Maskaev does beat Rahman, he will be forced by the WBC to fight James Toney. The WBC board of governors ruled on that last week. Maskaev does not have the skill to beat Toney. Toney will probably win by UD and then that will force us to view Toney as the weakest heavyweight champ of all time. A guy who cannot knock any one out in the heavy's but can decision almost everyone of them. Rahman and Maskaev are in a no win situation thanks to those *******s over at the WBC.

at the very least we can hope that the other three belts can be unified while this mess sorts itself out. the winner of maskaev toney and rahmans little circle jerk can be a sacrificial offering to the REAL champion at that point

Hopefully Lyackovich thinks for himself and does not allow outside influence's to determine what he should about his career. If Wlad beats Byrd then I hope Lyackovich calls Wlad out and they face one another. This fight could be huge for the division.
