PBC Cards going head to head with each other?

They have one coming up that is CBS afternoon and Showtime at night with JCC Jr.. I know Arreola is on the afternoon card but is not the main event.

I wonder why the Showtime events aren't marketed as PBC?

Tough to say really, but I think for now since Showtime has a pretty solid boxing brand having it essentially be equal with PBC gives them a bit of prestige on the cheap.

It will be interesting to see what they do in the end with that

I also thought the PBC claimed Alexander was not one of their fighters?

All these promotional disputes and shuffling has me confused. As long as the fights are on different times in the day i am happy. Cards on at the same time ticks me off, because even though I will record one, I still flip back and forth and always seem to miss something.

doesn't seem like they have. I'm surprised they haven't done a day with two cards yet (one in afternoon and one at night).

PBC will never have two cards on simultaneously, makes zero sense.

The Frampton card and Chavez Jr card are both on the same day, at the same venue no less; Frampton in the afternoon, with Chavez late.

Because Showtime is likely paying the broadcast rights fee for those shows, rather than Haymon covering the fee
