Kind of funny reading all the comments about this. Top Rank will absolutely win that lawsuit. However, commercial law is dictated off of past precedents. There is 1 past precedent of an illegal monopoly sports lawsuit. Back in 1987 the USFL successful won this exact lawsuit against the NFL. The reward was $1.00. I hate to break this to you but Arum is only doing this because he is on the outs with HBO. Haymon ownes every other tv network with non compete clauses. Bob Arum in 2 years will be as non existant as Don King is today. He has no where to put his fighters, which will result in them leaving.

I don't think economic damages is the primary objective, they're seeking an injunction (didn't they say permanent?).Kind of funny reading all the comments about this. You think TR will win, I'm not so certain but even if they do, I'd imagine there are always ways around it. Loopholes Haymon can exploit, but Waddell & Reed could pull the plug, do they need all these lawsuits and negative publicity?
