Comments Thread For: Kovalev's Promoter Gives Take on Competing PBC Card

Bad? I just think it's boring as hell, from the entrances to the commentating to the post fight interview to the obligatory 'I'd like to thank Al Haymon' comment. The entire experience is so dull that I never thought it would have been possible to take boxing and make it so unappealing to watch. I think it is bad for the sport to take such an exciting product and suck it totally dry of entertainment value.
Such a lackluster production will only drive existing fans away and certainly will not attract many new ones.Comment

Kovalev is the most marketable boxer on the planet, but the promoters are too ****** to market him correctly. They need to get him say he wants to crush his opponents skulls and permanently disfigure them in his native tongue and put English subtitles underneath and have him come out with a communist flag and bash America after every single win.Comment

You might be right.
Las Vegas isn't exactly a great place to be in late July to begin with....not sure who's going to want to go all the way over to the Palms to watch Shumenov-Flores when there's a more significant fight card going on at Mandalay.Comment

Hey bro, I'm in it for the fights, not how shiny the lights look on tv. Idk what else to tell you. My only complaint are the commercials, but the last few rounds without any make it that much better for meBad? Lol... right. Things are looking grim. Bad ratings, burning hundreds of millions, law suits left and right, and a cheap product not even worthy of a McDonalds value meal.Comment
