I have no idea of what is been happening behind close doors, but sounds kinda like Cotto agreed too easily, does anybody here thinks there might be a re-hydration clause?.I am not trying to start nothing since I really think its a good weight for both(although I still think Cotto should be at WW or super WW).

I live in Vegas so my boy and I will be going to the weigh in, but watching at home. Better quality!!! Can't wait, should be a great fight unlike the Pac vs Floyd fight we will get our moneys worth.
        Cotto was 153 for Geale.

Not going to ***** about weight sides or divas. Who gives a crap?

This is a great fight. Cotto has looked good. Rooting for Canelo but this is a huge 50-50.

Can cotto take canelos combos and uppers without quiting? Can Canelo take cottos left hook? Will he run out of steam?

Cotto has nothing to lose here. Outside his weight and prime age. Canelo has everything riding on this.

Huge fight. Bigger than floyd pac in terms of the future of the sport

No clue, normally a catch weight is supposed to favor one guy but in this case hard to say because you would expect the veteran boxing company to take the newbies to school. However Oscar does not seem like a smooth operator and I think Cotto is really running the show for his side and he is unlikely to get taken advantage of given his history.

After leaving bob, cotto turned into a "diva" in demands. Before he used to get fights atfull weight limits (140-147-154) only after he left top rank he started doing the things that cost him fights like catchweights n ****.

I think cotto was salty at top rank for feeding him to pacquiao, when he really didnt have a trianer and the fight was at a catchweight. Cotto felt he got played. He has never said it publicly because u know cotto avoids questions by talking in third person. Anyways, good for him aint nobody fkin with him in negotiations no more.

Yeah I think most of us guessed the weight was gonna be 155, glad they settled it. Can't weight for this fight

Edit: I don't think the weight clearly favors either fighter, maybe a smidge for Cotto who is sure to have no trouble getting in under 155 rather than Canelo who is gonna have to squeeze a bit but he's more than used to making that weight.

I agree somewhat, but the problem I see here, many people think de la hoya is a pushover or a not so smart business man, people IMO,confuses his party days or even when he said he wanted to make a comeback that he was an "idiot".
Look, this fight is going to make millions and if Canelo wins,it will generate him and golden boy a lot of money since Canelo will be really hot.I think is convenient for GBP to say yes to whatever Cotto is demanding,I really think is a close fight, but it is a winnable fight for saul.
At the end, we will once again be saying how bad of a decision GBP made when ,someone like me,cant even decide if I should get a better job!
