Yup. But still good enough to make Floyd duck and hug in panic. Push and hold the head. Run without any intention of punching.

You are a Floyd fan? You like his style of fighting? The "save me ref" kind of fighting? The "come to me and I hope I get lucky with a good punch and if I miss I'll just grab you" kind of fighting? Really?

    Jeez

      • I wonder if this dummy checked the form off correctly, unlike the other dummy floyd fought on May 2nd.

This video was released yesterday, is the dummy going to see Dr. El Attache today?

I wonder if this dummy took a selfie before the video?

Lol. Your boy ducks and hugs, holds the head when his opponent is attacking, pushes the face, and runs. And you are ok with that.

Now he hits a dummy and you are ok with that too.

          Lol.

Well, it wasn't exactly funny. If he was making a video he could of made it funnier.
If anyone laughed at it, either it was a forced laugh or they are easily amused.

The usuals will make out it's the funniest thing they've ever heard.
At least the guys who hang around his gym get paid to laugh at his jokes.

Feinting but being cautious on attacks to get his range down early on.

No way he can't get worse at cutting off the ring.

Being more aggressive when Floyd's against the ropes, and luring Floyd in and countering him when more towards the center. He did it well but not enough.

And I won't deny that Floyd could do better. Make sure the reach advantage still exists. Use the jab a lot. Don't lunge with the straight right because he did that too much. Big lack of combination punching when presented.

I'm not saying Floyd wouldn't likely be the winner again. He still has all the outside of the 1 on 1 advantages on his side. I'm just saying that Pacquiao could do even better than he did the first time by a lot. Even if he lost a competitive one the first time around.
I doubt he can. Manny just doesn't have the tools to beat Floyd. I know this is hard to accept for a lot of people.

The fight wasn't competitive. I can appreciate what you wrote but you are really giving Manny too much respect and floyd not nearly enough.

Manny is not capable of making the adjustments you listed. If he were, he'd have made them in this fight. Floyd, hate him all you want, knows how to use his tools in various ways to confuse and neutralize his opponent.

Style, skill, talent, reach, speed, ring iq all favor floyd. That is never going to change, particularly at this stage of their careers.

If anyone allows themself to be duped into believing injury or some other BS was the reason Manny got beaten so decisively and want to see it again, so be it.

I just suggest posters not let hate for floyd or love of Manny guide your decision making. If you use knowledge of the sport to guide you, then you will reach the same conclusion as much of the boxing world-no need, other than money, for their to be a rematch.

Dude, Manny had no answer for anything floyd did. If you are so upset that Manny got beaten so easily that all you do is focus on the negative and not give floyd credit for what he did positive, so be it.

You and others like you are allowed to have any opinion you want. If you then fork over more money to watch Manny get beaten by a wide margin again, hey its your money.

Sad thing is Manny tarnished a hof career with his poor performance, lying and excuse making afterwards.

At least this dummy knew that after he got slapped around by floyd, the best thing to do was keep his mouth shut.

Naah. I believe Pacquiao beat Mayweather. It's whoever is behind all this that made Mayweather look like the winner, using the commentators, the judges, even maybe people like you writing on the internet. Mayweather got hurt more than Pacquiao was. He did illegal things like pushing the head and face, headlocking, grabbing intentionally even when not hurt. You guys defend all of that and make it appear that Mayweather gave Pacquiao a boxing lesson. Where would he be without all those tricks? Pacquiao is an all-time great. Would he have even survived Maidana without those dirty tricks that is his signature? I give credit to Floyd for his speed and reflexes. But again would they be enough to win? OBVIOUSLY NOT because he resorts to the grabbing, holding, pushing that you guys call "spoiling" as if it is a legal tactic. Yes Muhammad Ali did it too and he also ****** when he did it. Same for Calzaghe, Hopkins, Klitschko, Ward and even the trying hard copycats like Broner and Khan.

You believe your guy really won? Fine. But you cannot deny that he did and has always done those tricks. Those are not legal and not fun to watch because they stop the action. It's one thing to stick and jab but to actually run away so that your opponent has to literally run after you to even just reach you? And you say it's inability to cut the ring? Come on. We are tallking all-time great level here in Pacquiao and Mayweather.

I believe Pacquiao won as so many others, You can say he was dumb for not postponing the fight with an injury. or if you wish even accuse him of lying even when there's a highly reputed surgeon involved in his case, lol. But you cannot question the way he fought and he fights. No dirty, scared, "save me ref" tricks when he fought your boy Mayweather.

Thought somebody like you would respond the way you did. What's the matter? Too much for you? What do you do? How much do you make? Work for Mayweather?
