I don't get it, this guy - Al Haymon - he literally has a cult following. ****in' Quillin, if Haymon told him to drink some kool aid laced with poison, the ****er would probably drink it
Here's the conversation Quillin made with Nes right after he turned down the RN offer and before he came out with the excuses. Here says it was a business decision and that there are things behind the scenes he can't talk about and that business is business.
When you think about it though, Quillin has had one of the strangest careers for a guy who reached near top level of the sport. He has never truly headlined a card. He has never been in a big fight. He has always more or less been hanging around, and happy to be there.
He has never even attempted to step up and go for it. The only time I ever see him talk hard on another fighter was to Ishe Smith LOL.
