Please explain how that challenges anything I wrote??
Everything is as it is from an observational perspective.. Lucas Browne is physically more imposing than Wilder and he is a better skilled fighter. That can't be challenged!
The fact Wilder won that medal and Browne did not is inconsequential!
Mike Tyson never won a medal... He crunched the guys who did!Comment

The confusion arises by the other statement that Browne would be the tallest+heftiest+good quality opponent Wilder has ever faced and side by side would dwarf Wilder (because of his own height nearly measuring up and his much larger girth and broadness).
You are a complete proven nut bag and should sit your ass down!Comment

Of course his medal in itself won't win him the fight against Browne.
I'm struggling to see where Tyson fits in here, I hope your not comparing him to Lucas Browne.Comment

You also stated this in a sense..
And you also stated the exact opposite also by claiming his medal was relevant when assessing skill levels against Lucas Browne!
A contradiction!
So let's look at their skills!
I just took a look at some of Lucas Brownes clips a bit earlier. And not only did I find Browne to be physically tougher than Wilder I also found him to be fundamentally a better skilled boxer.
I invite you to take a look.
The MAIN thing Browne lacks is speed, but I would not claim he was that slow! He DID beat Toney! He can't be THAT slow! He is obviously not as fast as Wilder who's arms and legs are exactly HALF as thick as Brownes!Comment

The reference to Tyson was very clear. It was clearly an example used to illustrate that winning the medal doesn't win him any said fight, his attributes do.

Lucas Browne is not better than Wilder in any of these areas, I have to feeling we will fundamentally diagree here.
But of course you don't automatically get the W against Browne based on the medal alone, you have to show these skills in the fight.
I've watched enough Browne fights. James Toney should not have been in a boxing ring at least 5 years prior to that.
Browne is naturally the heavier man and yeah sure he is physically tougher than Wilder. I suggest he has had the chance to display this toughness by being easy to hit.Comment

Wilder is longer by 3" and faster than Browne.
Wilder has better "cardio" than Browne and lb for lb better stamina. (I don't like to talk about stamina as a concrete quality as it's actually very relative when applied to a boxing match)
This exhausts any of Wilder's advantages!
Lucas Browne...
- Hits harder than Wilder
- Has a much harder chin and higher punch resistance than Wilder
- Is much heftier than Wilder, sapping Wilder's strength and stamina and harder for him to move
- Is the tallest+good opponent that Wilder has faced, almost as tall as himself and side by side, dwarfs Wilder overall
- Is possibly stronger than Wilder
Lucas Browne also...
Has far better boxing skills than Wilder
Has beaten a better class of opposition overall than Wilder.
Verdict... 60% Browne, 40% Wilder victories..... If Browne wins, it's definitely by KO, of Wilder wins it's most likely a decision.
These are my stats for the match.
In terms of punching power, I would give the edge to Wilder. Although no doubt Lucas Browne has power too.
It would be interesting how Browne will respond to Wilder's power and vice versa. I don't think Browne has faced someone with Wilder's power.
I see Wilder peppering Browne with lots of jabs and using movement, and landing his straight right at will. Browne does not move his head that much and is very slow.
Wilder by KO.Comment
