Find a way to make Lara or ward, garbage MW stay busy or go to 168 and find a tough challenge?
So you think dirk is right? GGG against a JMW who is not interested and is sure to be KO'ed in 5 rounds? Is that better than watching a unification with two powerpunchers?

I think you are werd, but to each his own I guess.

My guess would either be Michael Soro sometime in late september or he doesn't fight til the fall or the end of the year as they search for an opponent that will actually agree to step in the ring with him.

I'd want Lara personally. I just don't want any excuses about him being a JMW if/when Golovkin beats him. Can't have this **** both ways.

He is more available then Lemeuix, who I saw you picked knowing he will not be next given what ODH is saying.

SO who realistically do you want next-garbage MW, try and make lara or ward, or go to 168 and find a fight?

Explain what kind've way this could happen. Lara is with Haymon/PBC, GGG is with K2/HBO. HBO will never allow GGG to fight on another network. So how would this work unless uncle Al lets Lara go across the pond to fight on HBO? You know it's not happening so i don't get why people bring Lara up. It's the same argument with Quillen, Jacobs, etc.

It's because they can say "we tried to fight Lemieux doe" when the next short order cook gets announced as GGG's next opponent.

But they can't say "we tried to fight Lara or Ward"....cos they won't.

Lara has expressed an interest in the fight repeatedly but you're pushing a fighter whose promoter has literally come and expressed that he will NOT be fighting Golovkin next

One would think that a fighter from another division would make some noise and actively pursue the fight they allegedly want. Yet Lara has made no play for the fight and just as well. GGG will receive zero credit for knocking him out.

Ideally, I think Lemeiux is the best opponent out there in the MW division but there's been several news reports that stated he wants a title defense first. Personally I would love to see Golovkin face Lara but even if Golovkin KO'd him in the first round, people would criticize Gennady.

It's a shame that Golovkin is having such trouble securing "credible" opponents. He's one of the hottest and exciting fighters in the sport, yet he can't find a credible and dangerous dance partner and have that career defining fight.
