Former champion Ulises "Archie" Solis is not going away easily, after his legal claims against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez were recently thrown out by the Eleventh Chamber of the Supreme Court in Guadalajara (Canelo's hometown).

Solis was notified of it and he had 15 days to request an appeal before the judges of the district. The appeal was requested and a date of July 13th has been set for the hearing.

I think Canelo really beat him up over a woman. What does that say about Canelo losing a girl to a 105 pound guy, to say nothing of laying heavy hands on said guy.

If the rumors are true that this was all about him creeping on Canelo's girl then that's the price you pay for being a scrumbag. You try and mess around with your friends girl and he happens to be a world class boxer you should expect to get your jaw broke. Solis got beat down , his wife left him probably because she found out he was cheating on her, his boxing career went down the drain and he lost his lawsuit. That's some bad karma

I'd certainly love to know the real back story here. Things have been quiet on this front for a long time. And the Canelo media machine won't drudge it up. Facts that we don't know about might indicate whether there was any justification for this beating. It's all about the facts, and we are not privy to them.
