Because he only beat Russell 1 out of the 99 times Russell said he would beat Lomachenko. That and Russell got the WBC title.

I don't think people would watch a rematch. The first fight wasn't close. Russell won maybe 3 rounds.

I was using sarcasm to refer to what Russell said. He claimed after their fight his was mistrained and would beat Lomo 99 out of 100 times.

That said, I think Russell is improving and that down the road after both have established themselves more so over the next year or two a rematch might be pretty interesting.

What kind of crap is this!?
I still don't understand why Loma only fighting twice this year (Crawford as well). Just because Loma is already a champion doesn't mean he can't learn more in professional boxing. He should be fighting 3-4 (preferably 4) times a year, especially now that he's young and needs experience. Maybe they wanted to rest his hands up this year.

It's going to be extremely difficult to get fights with all three of them. Russell and Cuellar are Haymon and Selby won't fight him now.

Not sure how likely any of those fights are.

Shame Walters came in heavy, ruining what would have been a great unification fight for later this year.

Lomachenko vs Selby would be a great fight! Plus they're both in Santa Cruz's neighborhood so that makes it even more interesting.

Rigo fights at 122 and has said several times he has no intentions of moving up. Do you follow boxing? Or do you expect Loma to move down for Rigo or something?
