Porter can't get a fight with Mayweather when he lost to Brook. But it is a valid point, he didn't fight P. Williams ever, and didn't fight Mosley and Oscar in their prime, but did win when he fought them, so credit to him,.

Porter's hopes were dashed when Mayweather rejected his advance and advised him to face Errol Spence on the pay-per-view undercard. Porter has no interested in fighting on the undercard, he wants Floyd in the main event.

What a load of bullshiat. Floyd called out Mosley when Floyd was at 135. He went to 140 to fight Chop Chop and fought a prime Judah. K Porter is crazy and just shouting to get paid. His wrestler of a son would never beat Floyd.

Someone should tell Porter Sr that Mayweather fought Corrales when he was undefeated & faced "Chop Chop" Corley when he only had 2 defeats & faced Judah when he still had a lot left(Judah became a world champion again after facing Floyd) & he fought Mosley right after he(Mosley) annihilated Margarito who had just taken Cotto's undefeated record away. That doesn't sound like someone that has avoided "African american" fighters in their prime.

Come on admit it's hilarious seeing Floyd's own race card used on him.

            It's an American thing.

After a few generations where white guy=out of shape office worker and black guy=poor aspiring athlete, it's kind of stamped into the older generation's mind that blacks are super athletes and other races are designed to count money.

For a while (I'd say late '70s through current) non-black, American fighters were more like desperate social rejects than top athletes hence the "Great White Hope" era.

All of this must seem silly to the newer generations who have seen other countries (especially those in Europe) where McDonalds isn't eaten 3 times per day take over boxing, and Americans regardless of race making a pretty mediocre showing.

Porter is only embarassing himself. When Mosely was 25/26 yrs old, Mayweather was 20 years old and in his second year of being a professional boxer. Futhermore, Mayweather beat Sugar Shane when Mosely was a welterweight champ and ranked #3 P4P after his destruction of Margarito. DLH? Mayweather mnoved up to 154 to take DLH's title and 25 million dollars Nuff said.
Boxing fans know that P Williams won a welterweight title from Margarito and then lost it to Quintana in his first defense. That doesn't qualify you for a Mayweather fight.
If Porter wants his son to make more money, then they need to take a few community college courses in marketing. No one wants Porter to behave like Broner but a little personality won't hurt.

But Pacquiao and Cotto did, right? Kind of like GGG ducking Lara at the moment.

Apparently Floyd is afraid of Khan, Thurman, Berto, Tree Ortiz and any other stragglers looking for that career high payday.

Floyd ruins careers. Whether it's psychological damage from being outclassed or financial stability that makes fighters lose their hunger.

I have no sympathy for Thurman, Khan and now Porter if it happens to them. They bring it on themselves.

Ducked Williams? In what year was that? When Willaims was the WBA NABO welterweight champion? Or when Williams moved to Light Middleweight and Middleweight? I guess Mayweather should have given up all that De la Hoya and Hatton money just to fight Paul Williams. Hilarious!!
