Funny how when it's Bradley he's an iron chinned warrior for surviving but when things like that happen to khan he's a glass jawed joke, in almost identical situations.
I wouldn't call his chin granite, but he does have damn good recuperative ability.
Khan catches the right hand that Vargas landed on Bradley, and we aren't sitting here talking about how old Pat Russell is and related fuckery, because Khan is probably not getting up.
There is precedent of Khan getting caught, and being finished.

Double standard?
It is something of a double standard. Although Khan comes across as a whiner at times, he seems to get an unjust amount of hate on this forum. Not much to dislike about a guy that gives it his all in the ring and is willing to fight anyone.
Funny thing is Algieri hits harder than Vargas and is much bigger and heavier naturally
and Khan didnt buckle the way Tim did
Tim was in full survival mode against a junior ww
but yes if that were Khan, folks wud be saying Khan was lucky to survive etc... and how he owes Vargas a rematch...and they'd cry about the ref saving Khan

I think it's more the way he conducts himself outside the ring than inside it which makes people dislike him. Garcia hit him at least 20 times post KD and he still lost on his feet. He's only been flattened once and his chin is by no means iron but it is much sturdier at 147. Peterson and Maidana caught him good.
