James DeGale far and away would be the best choice given Froch, Lemieux, Lee are not available.

He would get credit he so badly lacks taking out a top-level fighter who's at 168 and holds a title. Fighting in London, there'd be 20k people at O2 and it'd be on prime time in all the Euro-countries that already watch Golovkin's fights.

TR was pushing Rameriz/Golovkin, probably for hype, but it would be in Golovkin's best interest to pursue that if the other options above aren't able.

It came out last week that Haymon tried to block Golovkin from fighting at the LA Forum, I think this confirms Golovkin/Lara was never capable of happening.

N'Dam or Korobov could be acceptable, but if it's Heiland or Johnson I'll pass watching Golovkin fight for the first time since Nunez. To fight a 2nd tier MW at this stage of his career given the state of his resume is simply a disservice to his abilities and only justifies the criticism.

Both coming off KO losses, wouldn't like to see it. Korobov has a brain issue too.

There was some talk of Clottey, it would be interesting to see if Golovkin could stop him.

So you'll skip his fight vs Johnson but would watch the Ramirez one?

Tom Loeffler on DeGale at 5:27.
