"Majority of boxing fans" LMAO.. You think the small cross section of idiots on this forum actually give a true representation of "majority of boxing fans"? You joker. The ******s / Khan-haters on this forum aren't worth the toilet paper they wipe their own asses with, everyone knows that they are simply mindless children who just recently stepped out of nappies and got introduced to regular underwear.

You think a total potential consumer base of 1.5 billion will pay $100K for the fight?

        Add to that:

        UK population: 60 million

Khan is the most internationally known fighter after Mayweather and Pacquiao. No one else is as popular as Khan after these two. Not even Klitschko. Not even GGG. Not even Cotto.

And there is no other fighter who brings in a fanbase from the Middle East and South Asia. None.
Do India/Pakistan show Khan fights or any boxing at all? I've never heard of them doing so.

You cats can make up the excuses all you want... Amir is very popular. Men lie, women lie but numbers don't. You can dislike him all you want but Amir vs May would out sell any of those other fighters he named. He's from England and fought CA and he went up against a hockey game. Highest rating in 8 years for the tv network. It's amazing how much hate he gets for wanting to fight the best. He's proved Floyd wrong. His numbers don't lie. I think Floyd should fight him on Sept 12th. It would do huge numbers.

Yes, Amir Khan's last few fights have been shown on PTV Sports (Pakistan's national sports channel). Keep in mind Pakistan has a population of 200 million.

Phillipines has a population of 100 million. So, Amir Khan's Pakistani fans outnumber Pacquiao's Filipino fans.... Just to give you an idea of how large a fanbase Amir Khan has...

Also, a UAE TV channel has been showing Khan's last few fights.

Nobody knows who Floyd Mayweather is in South Asia or Middle East (relatively speaking of course), and it's a market size of 1.5 billion people... That's 22% of the world's population.

Fighting Khan will bring Floyd Mayweather a large, untapped market...

Khan has been a pro for almost a decade. Where is this "great potential" people talk about? People wanna say he hasn't peaked yet?

No, Khan's reached his peak. He's just not that good.

Not everyone in Pakistan will be a Khan fan and i doubt he's a national icon like Pacquiao. You got any stats that show us how popular he is like TV ratings?

                      No, don't have any stats.

Khan hasn't been in a super-fight yet. Pacquiao has been in many and is, therefore, a national icon.

It will take time for Khan to become a national icon in Pakistan. Just a matter of time...
