I was kind of surprised to see him jumping around the way he was...even long after it was apparent that there was some kind of confusion going on.

I could tell pretty much straight away that the ref had made a mistake by his mannerism. He almost immediately started to point to his ear to indicate he thought he had heard something. I think Vargas kind of knew himself also before too long.

even if he knocks him down bradley would of gotten up and it wouldnt of mattered how hurt he was as the bell would rang and the ref would not of waived it off

Vargas is not a good puncher by no means. He caught Bradley with a good shot at the end of the fight and would had ran out of time regardless.

I think Bradley would've survived but we will never know. I think the ref deserves a great deal of criticism. I don't ever recall a ref mistaking the 10sec warning with the bell.

Bradley controlled the action and won a twelve round unanimous decision, but not before he was badly rocked in the final minute of the final round and nearly derailed. With about ten seconds remaining, Russell accidently jumped in and stopped the fight early as Vargas was trying to go for the finish.

Its unfortunate what happened but Vargas got lucky. He was pretty much dominated and out willed the entire fight. Vargas was not kayo'ing Bradley. The referee saved Vargas's career.

Just off the dome, Roy Jones vs James Toney and more recently Golovkin vs Murray. It happens all the time and is an honest mistake. Watch more boxing.

Just when I was thinking "Hey, this veteran ref is doing a good job at keeping order in this fight", the senile old coot pulls that stunt.

There should be an x-strikes policy enforced upon refs, in which they can only 'accidentally' ruin a certain number of world title fights before being outright banned from the sport.

Judges too, obviously. Too many controversial cards? You're out the door.

Jessie Gift Vargas could very well have 3 or 4 losses on his record right now, but he has the nerve to criticize the officials.

He could not even land one clean shot while Bradley was hurt, between the moment he hurt him and the moment the referee stopped the fight.

How was gonna kill Bradley? His last 10 fights have gone the distance.

Lol, a hypocrite again. He is a classy, nice guy in victory but if he loses he shows his true colours. The likes of Mayweather and Broner are still better than this type, they are at least show their true colours (= that they are douches) all time and don't play the classy guy until they get salty about something.
