Thats doesnt make Marquez a welter...... which is why instead of stating that Marquez is a welter, you said "Marquez beat Pac at WW".

    Come on man.

But that doesnt make any sense. We are not comparing resume's, we are discussing potential fights, so the weight most definitely does matter.

We are talking Mayweather here, the best fighter on the planet..... and Mayweather fights at 147/154.

We saw how Algieri/Rios type opponents did not prepare Pacquiao for Mayweather, and Pacquiao is a world-class vet.

You can argue that Bradley deserves it..... but when he signed with that scumbag Arum, knowing that he would never face the top welters, then Tim walked away from the Mayweather fight imo.

Secondly, many of you guys confuse "YOUR" opinion (offered from your perspective) as being something factual and accepted by all, which is something entirely different.

What I offered were worthy "GOOD" choices based on my opinion and that opinion differs completely from your "OPINION".

I think that you are splitting hairs, but no big deal.

Deserving > worthy, although for the sake of relevance, no difference.

I will stick with the word deserving, meaning that you have either earned it or you havent.

Personally, " worthy " sounds like your opinion..... " deserving " means that he has names on his resume to validate being mentioned.

We can agree to disagree, no problem.

And yes, this is my opinion, not fact..... never said/insinuated anything else.

The deserving fighters for that final Mayweather payday are as follows.....

      1) Lara
      2) Cotto

There is not one deserving welter, but I list them as follows.....

      1) Thurman - 1 very good one, hasnt ducked, just did not move fast enough
      2) Brook - 1 very good one, but failed to follow that up this year
      3) Porter - 1 very good win, 3 good wins, but the Brook loss hurt his chances
      4) Khan - 1 very good win, 2 ok wins, but ducked Brook/Bradley
      5) Bradley - 1 debatable win, nothing else

Bradley is not even on my list of hopefulls for September.

Not interested at all, it would be a complete waste of time.

I have never even heard Bradley even mentioned as a prospective Mayweather opponent until now...... until after beating Vargas.

Also, I would like to see Mayweather pushed, if that is possible.

And GGG of course. Realistically, Lara is by far the most deserving (considering Floyd already BEAT cotto(yeah i know he's made a very impressive come back, but still).

Then Floyd might as just retire now.

Lara? What's his best win or what has he ever done in the sport of boxing?

Cotto? For beating a cripple at 160 and losing to Floyd 9-3?

Give me Porter, Bradley, Brook or Thurman over those two guys anyday.

He was robbed against Canelo. You don't get it. Lara gives Floyd more problems than Brook/Thurman/Khan, even if Floyd is favored to win... Floyd is probably a heavy favorite vs anyone not named GGG(and EVEN THEN... he can dance and stick with his jab all night and possibly skate away with a UD)... So really, there's nothing to get excited about no matter who Floyd fights... But at least Lara gives him problems, that's at least SOMETHING

And I'm a big Bradley fan, but Floyd boxes circles around Bradley, speed and reach of Floyd will be his undoing... Bradley couldn't handle Manny's speed... how is he going to handle Floyd's speed combined with a bigger reach... Lara has decent speed and BIGGER reach than Floyd... Floyd will have to work very hard to score points with Lara

              Trout
              Smith

Come on son. You people cannot be serious right now. You don't have to like Bradley but get real.

1.Williams and Trout are superior to all of them especially Williams he was a beast and people thought he could give Floyd problems.

2.Im ok with Bradley he's a good guy(in and outside the ring) and wouldn't mind a Floyd fight but Lara is a more dangerous opponent.

              3. Finally someone says Chaves is a quality opponent.
