Isn't it weird and wonderful that a solidly-muscled guy like Tim Bradley who seems to have good technique and leverage cannot crack an egg with his best right cross, while at the same time, frail-looking fighters like Nonito Donaire and Andy Lee can decapitate a neanderthal with punches that barely travel six inches. That's boxing for you.

Vargas just needs to let his hands go, one thing that i cant stand about his style is that he waits and waits. Whenever he did, he landed his shots, and was not getting hit as clean as when he was waiting for the counter.

Listen. Boxing needs younger refs and judges. PERIOD. It was a good action fight but Bradley CLEARLY won. He was the effective aggressor. You cannot take or win a title backing up and giving ground like that. Lara loss to Canelo for this reason a and Floyd should've loss to Manny for this reason. About the 12th round. The hardest thing to do in a fight, is knock your opponent down or out. You don't go giving a 10-8 just because a fighter is hurt. Unless that fighter goes down or gets dominated in that round, it's a 10-9 round. It's that simple.

The ref actually did Vargas a huge favor here. Made people think Vargas could actually stop Bradley in the last seconds, and Vargas now has grounds for a pointless rematch in which he will be dominated again.

The ref screwed Vargas. He had Bradley basically knocked out. Had this hppenned a minute earlier, Bradley would have been KOed. Bradley was winning before this round though, an d forced the fight thanks to his Mexican trainer who makes him attack more.
