Brook came across the pond to challenge Porter. Khan wouldn't do that and won't do that today. Brook called Khan out for the last two or three years and heard crickets from Khan. Now Brook has a world title at 147, and Khan still won't fight Brook, even for his title. Just gutless. Khan-job knows that if he should lose or get KO'd by the best at Welterweight ie: Brook, Thurman, Porter, Bradley, Guerrero, Provodnikov or Spence, Khan has ZERO chance of landing the biggest payday of his career against Floyd or Manny. It's true, the risk is too much and this is why Ricky Hatton avoided the Witter challenge too, this is why Joe C avoided the Froch challenge too, but I do think Khan would fight Brook once the Mayweather obsession is over.

The only similarity with Hatton annd Calzaghe is the fact that they're all British. Calzaghe was at the end of his career looking for big money fights and Froch was a nobody at the time.

Witter may have been world champion but wasn't even remotely a household name in Britain and was never regarded as a legitimate champion.

Khan is still in his 20's and Brook is a legitimate world champion with a large, growing fanbase packing out arenas every fight.

This fight would fill out Wembley and the only reason it's not happening is that Khan knows his glass chin can't take the power.

Khan made 1.5mil last time out on spike TV, also the fee that he got for the fight to be aired on Boxnation was undisclosed but normaly it's about 200k. Now if you add the airing fee for the rest of the world Khan made about 2.5mil on his last fight. Brook on the other headlined the PPV card in the UK got 220k lol!
