Comments Thread For: Smith vs. Rebrasse Early Result From Echo Arena

Liverpool--Eddie Hearn brought his promising Liverpool-based stars to the Echo Arena for a night of boxing topped by Callum Smith versus Christopher Rebrasse.

One of the first contests was a scheduled four-threes between a British fighter and an opponent who would net you a decent score on Scrabble, especially if you hit a double word square, as Tom Farrell (10st 4lbs) beat Bulgaria’s Radoslav Mitev (10st 3lbs), 23, by knockout in round two—referee Mark Lyson ended matters at 1:55 of the round after a heavy knockdown.

lol it was quite good looking back over the big moments.

Wont know much about Murray till hes fighting someone better than that fella. Dont think he will cut it at the top of SMW.

Ian john lewis strikes again, when vera was pushed or bundled over he should have called the break surely

I think the writing was on the wall, Vera is shot to bits but yh it was a terrible call but not a surprising one Ian John Lewis is the most corrupt, worst referee in the sports history. Every single fight he ****s up in favour of the house fighter.

IJL is an embarrassment to UK boxing. Not the only **** ref we have but definitely the most consistent

I thought Fielding looked decent though. He's kind of good in an understated way.

yeah fielding, ive always said he's good in a shoot out, he go's for the kill if you open up against him he's not a typical rangey negative boxer, he's the same guy who was a huge underdog in prizefighter, thats how I first saw him. I think he's the peoples champion rather than callum, no need to gob at the end though what was that about.
