People bring up the DLH fight but that was bull****. Gatti was a lightweight for most of his career. He was at 140 for just 3 fights and he had to fight at 147 for the first time in his life against a prime DLH who was undefeated and near the top of the #4# list at the time. Gatti did alright in that fight, he just couldnt hurt Oscar because he was so big ang Gatti wasnt used to the weight. It was like the Cotto and Sosa fight. Sosa was doing good but he just wasnt big enough. He couldnt hurt Cotto and he couldnt take Cotto's punches like he did everyone else. Same for Gatti in that fightOriginally posted by dinodam right hes overrated...dont be so sure hell be leija either...the de la hoya vs gatti fight was awful..that looked like somebody fighting their little brotherComment

I dont know if all that putting fans in the seat **** is true. Everyone always says that but he always fights in AC which is his hometown. I dont even know that last time he didnt fight in AC. If he fought out west or down south would he still pack the house?Originally posted by bonafuwaGatti puts asses in the seats, as simple as that. His fighting style brings the fans and his come from the brink wins are legendary. That's why he gets all the press.Comment
