wrong wrong wrong. PBC isn't doing good simply because the majority of haymon's fighters are all mediocre coward chumps who are just unlikeable and very uncharismatic. that's the truth. not to mention majority of match ups are horrible, commentary is just BAD, production, marketing everything is BADDD. PBC doesn't excite at all.

boxing used to be big because it had larger than life personalities, exciting fighters and match ups that you couldn't miss. nowadays boxing has become a sport filled with nerds talking about the hit and don't get hit sweet science. they praise a coward floyd and ignore genuinely good fighters who are also very exciting like pacquiao, kovalev, ggg, rigondeaux, lomachenko, wlad, etc. etc.

boxing is DEAD because of the current nerd fans bringing it down and accepting and pushing boring al haymon/mayweather trash.

Haymon could've booked Mayweather-Pacquiao for primetime TV on NBC and you would've still **** on the move, for the simple fact that it's PBC.

We get it, you don't like Haymon; the way you rail against the ma, it'd be as if he ****ed your mother rawdog or something. whatever.

If you don't have anything constructive to say, move on with your life and go to something that you actually like.

Why don't these promoters and networks start showing fights during the week? Especially during this time of year when the only major sport going on is baseball they wouldn't have that much competition.

Because television discovered something called Summer series, such as Under The Dome, Hannibal, Humans, American Ninja and others such as the new MTV Tuesday night show Scream, based on the movie series and geared to that important demographic, a new series called 'ZOO', that pull ratings boxing can only dream of. These shows are very profitable and advertisers love them. Many of them are a fresh of breath air compared to regular season network fare and a welcome change to the old days of nothing but Summer reruns.

You're right, how are people going to split their time when there are great shows such as Under The Dome, Hannibal, Humans, American Ninja and others such as the new MTV Tuesday night show Scream, based on the movie series and geared to that important demographic, a new series called 'ZOO'? Hopefully sport networks like ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC Sports and CBS sports follow suit and quit showing sports and show these wonderful television series. Spike "cops" marathons and TruTv funniest videos and hardcore pawn better not be interrupted to show boxing for two hours of the week either.

For some people, there's no such thing as too much boxing. For me, there's no such thing as too much GOOD and ENTERTAINING boxing. I'm introducing my little bro to older fights. We watched Corrales/Castillo yesterday and today we watched Gatti's fights vs. Rodriguez and Ruelas.

I understand that not every card can be great, but there's no harm in actually trying. Tonight, there wasn't one fight that I can say I truly enjoyed, and I watched the cards on ShowBox/Tru TV/Sky Sports/FS1. I just hope that Bradley and Vargas come to fight tomorrow.

Even if all the fights turned out to be entertaining, fatigue could begin to set in. It starts to feel like a chore to try and keep up with every boxing card.

Too much watered down boxing with crap cards. Haymon is trying to replicate the UFC and their junk quantity over quality cards. Bad idea. The UFC hasn't recovered it's popularity since going to it's current format. I said this from the beginning, Haymon boxing isn't going to do any better than generic MMA cards in the long run.

People are figuring out it's not worth watching unless Amir Khan is on the card. Networks might as well stop broadcasting other fighters and just broadcast-share Khan fights from now on, they'll bring those ratings back up in no time at all!

Being honest here, I DVR'd all the shows from last night, rather than watching it live. Needed a break to get into the mood of watching more prospects fight other prospects. That Showtime card... I don't know any of those fighters.

honestly as a boxing fan ratings mean nothing to me. Anymore its nothing but ammo for people to talk about why its ok the fighter their a fan of is not fighting so and so. But as a fan i could care less about ratings and the reality is these promotions and managers are competing at a high level. for instance lemeiux dam fight was a complete waste of a good fight for gbp. these promoters and fighters are going to get tired of it and the end will be compeition which will lead to better fights. There is just so much boxing on tv right now there is no way for these events not to overlap and i for one am ok with that. I dont think its bad for the sport at all i think its great. Not to mention these fighters are going to all start gravitating to one promotion which will most likely be top rank or pbc if it survives. Its just going to be interesting to see how it plays out thats for sure cause these guys are going for blood no doubt about it. I think top rank and gbp will continue to stage events on the same night as pbc and to me thats ok. Let the best promotion/manager win and that will be the one willing to put on the best fights
