Broner went twelves rounds with Marcos Maidana, getting dropped twice but getting up, biting down on his mouthpiece and showing the grit to get through that.

Lucas is basically Broner's size and I doubt that he hits as hard as Maidana; if Broner comes ready to fight active again, he wins the fight in a 7-5/8-4 manner

Common opponent Alexander and Corley said Matthysse hits harder than than Maidana. Ajose tried the shoulder with Lucas and got KTFO and his chin was iron.

but despite the obvious TKO prediction it would be no surprise to see Broner get through this fight without being stopped. He wouldn't win it though. Lucas's eye has shown twice in the past if you catch it right it will swell right up. With the way Broner smothers and uses illegal tactics he could dink Lucas coming in quite easily.

Lucas would have most success to the body. He'd kill Adrien there.

Broner has shown twice now that an agressive ,skilled fighter with fast, accurate, powerful punches is more than he can handle. Lucas would come at Broner hard and fast with an accurate two fisted attack. As usual Broner's defense would be the bear hug. Clinching would just put off the KO for a little while. Lucas would go for the KO as he always does and he would get it. Broner would be too busy running and holding to do much damage to Lucas. It would be another one sided defeat for Broner. Broner is just a pretty good fighter but he is never going to be this superstar that he and his fans thought he would be. He will probably go back to fighting easy guys and he will get wins and KOs. As soon as he takes on a top 5 world rated guy he will probably lose again.
