Former two-division world champion Timothy Bradley (31-1-1, 12 KOs) is going to get one hell of a fight on Saturday, according to his opponent Jessie Vargas (26-0, 9 KOs). Vargas holds the WBA's "regular" version of the junior welterweight title and plans to go for a knockout when they collide in an HBO televised main event at StubHub Center in Carson, California.
Vargas does not sport a big percentage of knockouts on his record but plans to go for the KO and believes he is now a lot stronger after training with new coach Erik Morales.
