I dont get how people can say porter looked terrible. Broker tried everything in his power to keep porter from making it a slug fest but porter did exactly what he needed to do and dominated almost every round. I swear some people on here complain for the sake of complaining. I was very impressed with the ferocity and hunger of porter. Hes definitely won me over as a big fan. I guess his style isn't the best looking but how does that equate to him not doing a good job. The only other guy to dominate broker like that is maidana. That 114-112 score was shameful. I didn't see more than 3 rounds broker could have possibly won and that's really stretching it. They tried to rob porter but couldn't

Yeah I saw the same thing. He looked real sloppy and uncoordinated. Any decent boxer that knew how to jab would have beat him that night.

Porter did a great job with making it rough and disrupting Broner's timing. Broner needs to let his hands go much more. He should've looked at the Brook fight much more seriously, using range effectively, backing up and catching Porter when attempts to come inside.

i dont see any growth, decent fighter but hes pretty much peeked out, i think with his dad as his trainer we have pretty much seen the best of shawn!

I would think sparring with Manny would help any fighter unless Manny spars like he fought on May 2nd.

Porter does have real limitations but he did just fine with what Broner presented which was about the most negative way Broner could fight.

I don't know that he needs a new trainer but he could use a fresh set of eye that could offer a new wrinkle in his game.
