i'd be delighted with brook or thurman (i slightly favour brook due to his title, although i feel thurman is the better fighter). i wouldn't begrudge him an easy showcase fight, but i do think he's pushing his luck a bit with andre berto and karim ****ing mayfield. i wouldn't mind mayweather-khan, but it'd be funnier if khan was passed over

I voted Mayfield as it will be about as competitive as any of the others. In truth the most exciting would be something like Khan and Brook versus Floyd in a 24 rounder or something at Wembley Arena, I'm sure the Brits would get hard at the thought of it.

Personally Id like to see him fight Corto at 155 for lineal or something to that effect, he's beat everybody worth beating, their isn't a test out there at 147 or below with the exception of maybe Crawford who clearly is not ready.

This is pretty much how I feel. Passing over Khan would be hysterical just to see and hear his cherry picking ass reaction.

The other guys are meh, I care little. Simply ain't any interest in seeing anyone face him over anyone else, if Khan had beat Cotto or Thurman had defeated Brook, I'd love to see someone firmly establish themselves over the others but even then Floyd would likely avoid that particular test if he deemed it too taxing.

It wouldn't be the first time Floyd looked past Khan you know. Floyd set up a poll before the Maidana 1 fight on his website & asked fans all over the world to vote who he should fight next..options were Khan & Maidana. 100's of thousands of votes came in, Khan won the poll 65-35%, Floyd picked Maidana ROFL ...Khan was furious after that. If Floyd passes on Khan this time as well Khan should be put on suicide watch

Nice... But do you see Floyd being forced to sign that paper that he agrees to fight GGG next? I don't such a thing........

WBC isn't making Floyd (cotto, canelo or Manny either) sign anything. they are going to take that huge sanctioning fee and tell GGG to STFU and keep waiting.

I would really love it if Floyd went back to HBO to fight GGG or, even better, worked with HBO to get that fight on NBC in primetime.

Unrealistic expectations of Cotto. Even if he gets back in the gym today with 0 rest from his last fight he doesn't have enough time for rest+training for September. Which is exactly why Oscar has suggested November dates for Canelo-Cotto.

True. I just wanted that. I agree it's not going to happen in Spet at this point.

I wouldn't mind Thurman or Brook. Ideally, Floyd could move off the September date but that would be a huge shift so I can't see it happening.
