Ok i think people are getting mixed up...

Both were calling each other out. After the Augie Sanchez fight (and that KO is one of the best i have seen of all time), he said he will take anyone on and that he plans on being a "legend". He mentioned Floyd Mayweather, and so did Manny Steward who was there at ringside. We are talking like 2000/2001 here.... this is before Mayweather beat Castillo II and when Naz was on the decline. There is an argument in saying that Naz would lose, as at this point in time he was no way near his prime (After Sanchez). Prime Naz was before Kelley... but lets not forget how he dismantled so many after Kelley and including Kelley.

At the time that **** was said, you guys wouldnt be banking your money on Floyd Mayweather for sure. Naz was rated as one of, if not THE best P4P fighter by many (before this site was even set up), and before Barrerra he still appeared invincible. For those who are saying he is overrated, tell me which part of his gameplan is overrated please??

For those who are interested in the real Naz, watch Naz under Brendan Ingle, not Oscar Suarez and Manny Steward, then you will find out the real potential Naz had, which he wasted partly through arrogance and partly through losing Frank Warren and Brendan Ingle who had served him so well....

Like Jose says, the Soto bodyslam was warranted. But i really like how people "conveniently forget" the WWF **** Barrerra pulled off, on that night in Las Vegas...
