Tim Bradley vs Kell Brook

Everyone on the forum would of said Bradley before Brook beat Porter,now all of a sudden he's the 2nd best welterweight behind Mayweather.the Porter win is seriously overrated,he beat a fighter who to me is a terrible boxer,smothers his own punches and rushes in like a caveman with no technique whatsoever,he can't even throw a decent combination.the Malignaggi win fooled a lot of people into thinking Porter was some monster.Bradley has declined a lot so Brook probably beats him now.

I do not rate Bradley at 147. Too small, his chin is suspect , he has no power and he seems to be on the slide.

Kell wins a wide UD (drops him a couple of times) or stops him.

I believe, the only thing because people say this "He's on the slide" thing is because he got robbed on the Chavez fight. He didn't look like he lost a single step on that fight. You're sleppin on Bradley but he is still a top 4 welterweight imo

Hesitant till he gassed and even then pac felt the need to be careful. Not saying Bradley won or anything but if he brook with shots and stuck to his boxing I think he'd win pretty Easy.

He has too big heart, he is not like Mayweather in attitude. He wanted to please the crowd desperately after he got death threats and all that sudden became a public enemy in many "fan's" eyes just because he got the decision against Pac. That's why he started to brawl with Provodnikov in the first two rounds and got concussed but even in that condition he went and outboxed Provodnikov in almost all the later rounds except of 1-2 (he 12th obviously).

If you watch his JMM fight and after that you say/write with a serous face that he fought Provodnikov on the way he fought him because he was forced to not because he fucked up his strategy then I don't know what to say to you...

There's a difference between fighting a 40 year old slow counter puncher and a come forward swarmer like Provodnikov. Bradley didn't look great in either fight IMO.

What was his excuse for his ugly ass performances against the likes of Campbell, Alexander and Chaves?

JMM came in to that fight from the biggest win of his career where he didn't look faded and old at all so leave behind this "40 years old" argument. JMM was in all P4P top 10 lists, and Bradley too or somewhere he still is. Brook has got one good win not more, not even comparable with Bradley's resume.
Bradley beat Peterson and Alexander in their primes, fought two competitive fights with Pac and beat JMM. But yeah "sloppy as hell".
I hope we will see who's right.

40 years old argument? He was 40 years old! It's not an argument. It's a fact and the fight was close in my eyes.

Bradley wasn't competitive in either Pacquaio fight and did you see the second fight? He was swinging like an amateur. The guy is just very overrated.

I've never rated Bradley as a WW. I think he's entirely too small for the weight. I think he can be a very good fighter, but not at WW.

He can do alright against other small WW's (JMM, Pac, etc...) but against guys like Brook and Thurman? Nah, I don't give him much chance at all.

Was about to say the same thing. Brook would be the first true big welterweight he's faced who throws hard straight punches, whilst Bradley is often wide and sloppy.

We know that was one of the reasons he was scared to lose to Khan as well.

Good fight that I think Brook would win.

Bradley is similar to Porter in a lot of ways, high activity, rough with kinda sloppy technique. He has less power but can box better on the outside than Porter.

Though it could easily go either way, I think Tim's experience being in there with legends gives him the edge. The Porter comparisons don't work because Tim's footwork is different and he's not as predictable as Shawn is. He won't be shut down with a stiff jab. He's going to get inside and frustrate Kel, then get out. Bradley decision.
