GGG is building his brand and trying to make some real money. As long as he also takes on some top guys, who cares?

I'm sorry, but he has got to drop the "big drama show" bit.

Lmao **** outta here. You do realize the kind of exposure Golovkin would get if he fought Oscar right? The fight would do wonders for his career, but I guess **** him for trying to make a lucrative and successful career.

I've been lurking these forums for a long time and I swear a lot of you are borderline ******ed. The bull**** you guys spew is mind blowing. If people would stop and put themselves in the shoes of some of these boxers it would be a lot easier to understand their decision making.

Oscar's sole purpose as a boxer in the last decade has been to put guys over. Fighting him is why Floyd, Pac, and to a lesser extent, Hopkins became mainstream names.

I'm sure he'd rather fight Floyd, but Floyd wants nothing to do with GGG. As long as he also fights the big names, what does it matter to you if he cashes in?

Oscar is giving GGG amazing publicity. Thats about all this will amount to in my opinion, though. GGG could literally kill a 42 year old Oscar in a fight.

Hahahahaha thats your come back? Im sure hed rather fight a 40 y/o welterweight but i guess he'll settle for a 45 year old shot fighter. Ladies and gentleman, the golovkin fanbase.

                    Wow.....that is incredibly sad.

Wladimir Klitschko, ironically also managed by Tom Loeffler, refused to fight Evander Holyfield when he was still an active fighter out of sheer respect for the man, realising that he was well past his best.

Golovkin is so damn desperate for a payday that he is willing to get a coked out Oscar out of retirement and tries to sell it as a "big drama show".

And Loeffler has the nerve to compare it to Leonard-Hagler

Are GGG fans really going to continue to defend this pathetic team?

As a huge gggg fan i would lose nearly all respect for him . Unless the money is straight ridiculous to pass up i see no reason for this fight at all
