    Is it a Valid tactic?

    Sup all,

Just finished watching brewster-Sergio, and oh boy i was really surprised, this fight was really awesome. i seriously didnt expect it to be that good(even after reading all the posts from the ppls) although the commentry was in french but it was a great fight nevertheless. Ok my point is why was brewster holding Sergio's neck whenever he was on the ropes and in trouble? i mean brewster did that in round 5,6 and 11 and whenver he grabbed sergio's neck, referee broke them apart. Isnt it cheating? Imho referee shoulda warned him atleast because to me it was deliberate. Tbh it equal's corrale's "mouth piece throwing" tactic in my book. Although i give brewster credit for showing heart of a fighter but he still looked pretty ordinary in this fight. I always knew that brewster had no defence but i didnt expect him to lose to no name fighter like Sergio. anyways gratz to Sergio on his well earned victory

so what do u guyz think?

    regards

Sergei has an excellent amateur record -- 150-14 (approximately) -- he is not a nobody. He has boxing skill, great chin, and heart. Now he has a name too.

Yeah there were several su****ious things around the fight like them stopping the round early, but it might have been confusion because at one point later Showtimes clock showed 5 seconds left and bell rang. Yeah he grabbed him by the neck and tried to lift him up at one point.

I'm not sure what happened with the round stopping early.

I think Brewster put his arm over Sergio's neck, and Sergio tried to stand upright and lifted Brewster ... at least that's how I saw it. Let me know what part of the fight it happened and I'll watch it again.

Well the thing that looked su****ious in the early round stoppage was that Liakovich looked like he was about to knock Brewster down, and only thing that was holding Brewster up was the ropes but he was slowly sliding down, and then the ref just pulls them apart.
