If you can't differentiate a heavy weight compared to light boxers. Then you obviously don't know much about boxing.
lumbering heavyweights? Mike was 218lbs in that fight. He wasn't the typical 230-260 lb guys we see today. Apart from that ,Tyson was known for his head movement, footwork and combination of punches. He was far from lumbering. Especially in his fights with Evander.

Then again im reading your posts and see how weak your attempts area. Advice, just move on. Someone posted a video of Manny "hugging", "holding", and "running" vs Rios. How are you gonna change the rules on that one since Manny isn't a lumbering hw

Enjoy! 70 power hugs in one night. Awesome.
I see you are still upset about #48 getting his ass whipped by Mayweather. Don't worry! Your hero will be back in November after he makes a miraculous recovery the likes of which have never been seen in the history of rotator cuff (fake) surgeries!

FLoyd doesnt need to clinch because he stays stays on the outside, Holyfield is a better inside fighter, so he clinches to get on the inside and rip a few shots .

One is exploiting it, the other is putting it to use, completely different.

70 is really not unheard of, but i agree it was excessive in Maidana II. There were 14-18 clinches in the May-Pac (not all instigated by Floyd - some coincidental) bout which is below average for a 12 rounder. I really don't know what people are seeing when they complain about excessive clinching in that fight.

Alexander 'hugged' Maidana 100 times in a 10 rounder. I believe Wlad clinched Povetkin close to 200 times. Now that is excessive.

*I hard clinch without purpose either than getting the ref to separate you

He couldn't do it against Maidana II.

When he faces a good inside fighter he can't match them, Maidana is not even that good, and the best he could do is clinch.

We can do this all day. Show me any ATG fighter below 160 that consistently fought fighters who weighed 15+ lbs more than them on fight night?
