    Trainer Virgil Hunter finds himself in an awkward position in recent days.

    One of the bigger names being trained by Hunter, former world champion Amir Khan, is campaigning very aggressively to challenge WBC/WBO/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

    During the last few days, Mayweather has repeatedly named Andre Berto and Karim Mayfield as the two potential names to fight him in September.

    Very few insiders believe Berto or Mayfield will actually win the Mayweather sweepstakes.

              It would be hilarious if Mayweather does pick Berto and Khan has to help Berto get ready for Mayweather since they are stablemates

                      Berto & Mayfield are Khan's sparring partners. It's all about Floyd throwing shade on Khan. He could take one of those two and have Haymon force Khan to fight on the undercard vs Spence or Porter.

                      In reality though, I don't see Showtime agreeing to pay Mayweather $30mill for those guys.
