What are you talking about? Floyd didn't start bad mouthing opponents til he got to a certain level to promote fights. And even then he didn't always do it. And when he trash talked, he kept it strictly boxing usually. Oh this guy is flat footed, doesn't move his head, I'm gonna walk right through him. He's plain, straight up and down, no special effects. If you make any mistake, you have to pay. He may punch harder, but I'm 4,5,6 levels smarter than him. Post fight, he was always nice towards his opponents, congratulating them, etc.

Floyd didn't go so far as to trash talking about your girlfriend, your father, your mother, etc. And still insulting you after victory when the scorecards were read.
