By way of exception due to the Floyd Mayweather situation, the WBO Championship Committee has sanctioned Saturday’s Timothy Bradley vs. Jessie Vargas to be for the WBO interim welterweight title. Should Mayweather not comply with terms and conditions of a June 5 WBO Resolution, the winner of Bradley-Vargas will become the full WBO welterweight world champion.

According to the resolution, Mayweather has an extension July 3 to:

1) Send a check in the amount of $200,000 for the sanction fee for the May fight against Manny Pacquiao.

2) Send a signed letter relinquishing his WBA/WBC 154 lb. titles and stating his wish to keep his 147 WBO title [Click Here To Read More]

he said on Saturday, he is still waiting for the belt and doesnt know whats going on

looks like he will have to pay $200,000 if he wants it

Maybe he'll keep the wbo. Just so arum won't have any champs at 147 and fight kell brook. Seems like a very haymon thing to do
