If Golovkin's easy work for SOG then the Hova should just open up his wallet and pay Golovkin to fight Ward. The publicity bump Ward would get would put him right back on top of the sport, instead of losing his promoter over $2mill a fight for these embarrassing tuneups.

You got Mayweather, Alvarez, Cotto, and Dela Hoya all talking about Golovkin, he's not unknown anymore. He's got more push behind him right now than Kessler, Froch, and Dawson did combined when Ward fought them. GGG would be his biggest trophy in terms of fame. Ward's team is already losing millions on him, why not step up and invest it into something with a big return.
