Doesnt Ward vs Fonfara make alot of sense?

Fonfara coming off a good win vs Chavez Jr.
    He would come to win.

Ward would prove he is back and have a solid argument to face Adonis or Kovalev as a legit LHW if he wins.

There should be no nitpicking about negotiations from Fonfara, probably they could lowball him and hed take the fight.

Most importantly it should be a damn good fight.

    Thoughts?

I like Fonfara but it wouldn't be a good fight. I mean I always enjoy watching Ward boxing but by the classic term it wouldn't be a competetive, good fight. Fonfara would barely win 1-2 rounds.
and it's not realistic sunce Fonfara is with Haymon.

No because Ward is a 168lb fighter.

Ward's options at 168 all pretty much reside in the UK.

Being that Fonfara is the lineal 172 pound champion, yes it makes a ton of sense.

Ward doesn't have many immediate options at 168.
                    Groves is fighting Jack
No way Hearn allows DeGale to fight Ward for his first defence, it would ruin the Groves rematch which would be HUGE if Groves beats Jack.
Froch is probably going to retire.
                    Chudinov is fighting Buglioni
Arum wouldn't make the Ramirez fight

His best option would probably be the Stieglitz-Abraham winner
