No I stated that GGG has been begging for that Froch goldmine for years. He....or should I say his team....have been begging to get some of that Froch money. Froch is the one who responded saying he'd like the fight if he doesn't retire.

Froch is in a position where he doesn't need to call anyone out.

Once again, despite what he wants, Froch cannot now fight Calzaghe, so why waste his time and breath; however, there is an excellent chance that Carl could fight GGG, and if Carl will only modify his requirements for a fight with Andre Ward (not having Nottingham as the site of the fight), then he could fight Ward. All Carl would have to do is make good on one of the two: GGG or Andre Ward - that would satisfy me and most other fans.

Do you actually think Froch was serious about fighting Calzaghe now?

I'm not protecting Carl Froch from anything. He doesn't need to fight again. I'd love him to fight again but if he retires, he is entitled to. Boxers don't have to keep fighting to satisfy nerds on the internet like you.
