It seems as if he has made a name as of late by taking on boxing's equivalent of the senior circuit: shouldn't he be fighting young lions.

34 is old now? It's not the age, its the stage of the fighters career and resume. He lacks a big name on his other than Guerrero but Guerrero is not a true 147lbr

Let's say he faces Pac, Cotto & Floyd next, which further increases that average. Would you still call him a guy who fights senior guys? What's your point?

Canelo came up the same way, but worse. He eventually stepped it up to legit comp though. Thurman will have to do the same if he wants respect. As was said, Guerrero is not a true147lber.

Thirty-four is old in boxing years, especially for guys who begin fighting in their teens. For example Cotto is seen as having just a couple fights left in his Career at this age....

We'll cross that river if he ever faces a single one of those guys instead of the likes of Bund,Diaz, and JSK.

Thurman had an extensive amateur career, unlike Canelo and is three years older than Canelo. You're comparing apples and oranges not even remotely in the same situation,]and Thurman has recently complained about the possibility of fighting a fighter close to his own age.

One of Canelo's best wins is still Miguel Cotto's brother

You don't get what I'm saying. Canelo was also fed older guys when they were building and hyping him. Now Thurman's name is out there, it's up to him/his people to step up the competition.

Incorrect and not relevant to anything I said, but that seems to be a habit with you.
