    Hopkins exit strategy

If you are BErnard Hopkins and Golden Boy Promotions and you know that retirement is looming what is your exit strategy?

I would give an ultimatum to the boxing world with regards to Felix Trinidad, I would say if you want to fight lets set a date otherwise you are a ***** and you will never avenge yuour blowout loss too me, I would even go as far as to insult his puerto rican heritage etc....."Tito do you want to fight or not"

Then I would challenge Glenn Johnson, NArd dominated him once before and even though Glencoffe is on a streak he still is a bit amaturish which I believe Bernard will be able to exploit. Granted NArd will have to face a guy who will attack him hard core for many rounds which no one has done in a while but imagine this...

Bernard fights Johnson and beats and retires as the undisputed king at middle and light heavy...that would put him in some pretty good company, whats your exit strategy for Bernard?

Johnson is worse to boxing than Ruiz.

What? Johnson is a class act stand up dude...I don't think he is that great a fighter but lets face it the light heavyweight division is the worst division in boxing...How the **** is he bad for boxing?

Ruiz is not bad for boxing either, when he finally gets the **** knocked out of him there will be a lot of happy mother****ers out there including you an I and thats one of the things that makes boxing better than asll other sports...we get to watch people we really have a dislike for get the **** kicked out of them, no other sport affords us that luxury.

That's harsh to say Johnson is Ruiz-like..

I'd rather see Bhops fight Tarver & retire.

Tarver v. Hopkins would be much more of a chess match...Tarver has always been extremely caution and I would not bet on that changing...

Glenn Johnson has come out like a wild man in his last couple of fights against A competition-I would bet on that staying the same.

From a fan perspective the most exciting fight is Johnson/Hopkins not Tarver/Hopkins.

              re

Hopkins is going to retire w/ a plop rather than a ****. He will not fight Tarver (too tough a fight), RJJ (loss all money-making appeal) or Tito (2 words: Don King). Hops will fight Eastman, then Sturm or Taylor (I suspect Sturm cause it's an easier fight) and then fight Winky. Hops is not about challenges, he's all about setting his record defenses, which is what alone gets him into the HOF.

Johnson is a good fighter and he is fun to watch not like ruiz. He puts his punches together. He always puts pressure on his oppenents even if he has to walk through punches (very good chin) and he has some power. He is not a great boxer like Bhop but he could catch him it would be a closer fight than some might think.
